Comic Relief event a roaring success!

Hosted by Clifton Green Primary School and supported by Elementary Technology and other local companies, the event raised over £3,000 for Comic Relief. A cause which generates enormous generosity from every corner of the UK and beyond.

With magicians, music, slapstick comedy and lots more, the York Barbican was packed – and no doubt very noisy – from the 1pm start until the end of the show, at which point our man Chris Connolly, York’s local Education Technology Consultant, helped with the clear up. We’re sure he had a smile on his face in the knowledge that £3,000 had been raised for Comic Relief, a charity which supports thousands of projects around the world.

The event has also been covered by local radio who were at the event, as well as the local press! York Press and York Herald among others.

John Hattam of Clifton Green Primary School commented; ‘We’re enormously grateful to Elementary Technology for supporting this magical event – it really would not have the been the massive success it was without the generosity of the company and the other local supporters. As Yorkshire-based audio-visual technology experts, it made absolute sense! Even more so as they work so closely with schools in our region’.

The team here at Elementary Technology are proud to have been involved. We’re just a little disappointed Chris Connolly didn’t get gunged.
