Effective, remote learning using a visualiser

Schools are being forced to embrace distance learning, whether or not they have the experience or the infrastructure!

During this challenging period, we at Elementary Technology and our dedicated website thevisualisershop.com have been inundated with inquiries about the use of a visualiser to support distance learning and remote teaching. It is an easy and effective solution.

Use your laptop webcam to speak directly to your viewers, and then easily switch to your visualiser to show some text, photos or objects to all those watching. Teachers can also easily switch to sharing the contents of their screen to present lesson content whilst talking to explain what’s being shown. A fabulous solution for schools forced to teach remotely during these difficult times.

The video in the header of this page, filmed in our Customer Experience Centre, demonstrates how it can easily be achieved.

And this image below is a screenshot we were sent by a teacher using the technology to teach Maths to a group of pupils – live handwriting whilst using the laptop microphone to explain what’s being taught.

It’s important to know what a Visualiser actually does, that way, you can see the full benefits of having one in your classroom!

For more information on how your school, and your teaching staff, can use this low-cost technology to enable learning, please contact us today. We recommend chatting online on this website, or else, of course, you can call 0113 8187930 or complete our Contact Form.
