EdTech Expo Event Success

We have held several of these events in 2015, and they have proven excellent channels to get teachers ‘on board’ with education technology. Today, interactive technology makes a huge difference to ensuring pupil’s interest in class. That’s why it’s important to demonstrate the benefits of interactive touchscreens and other equipment at events, and to show how to use such technology to its full potential in classrooms.

A range of the latest equipment was on show included interactive touchscreensinteractive tablesvisualisers and more. Using an exciting interactive teaching resource , teachers tried on 3D glasses and were transported to a faraway galaxies and uncovered the biology of a T-Rex. For further insight, visit our YouTube channel.

Our education technology consultants also demonstrated classroom wireless connectivity using iPads supported by an Apple Education and their exciting workshops. Click here for some insight into how mobile technology is being used at Hillmead Primary School, including their shift towards touch technology in classrooms.

Other partners attended, such as Epson showcased their Print & Save solution, Soundfield demonstrated their classroom audio solutions and Vidifox displayed their Visualisers.

Teachers commented on the Inventry sign-in and safeguarding system, including how easy it was to use – at the click of a button attendees signed in and out of the event wearing a badge for photo ID.

There will be plenty more technology events in 2016! Our events are local, full of current technology trends, offer the perfect chance to chat with leading manufactures and a great opportunity to network with peers.
