It’s for this reason that when we provide you with your inclusive technology training, it is always from the same accredited consultant who has worked with you at each and every stage of the project. It means we know names, habits, strengths, preferences, your favourite cake and also your teaching and learning objectives.
This was shown to good effect recently when we used a teacher’s existing resources when training their team on the latest Promethean technology. It was a lesson the teacher had prepared some weeks earlier, and we took the time to look at the lesson, prepared in an older version of ActivInspire, and ‘supercharge’ it using the latest teaching tools.
It meant that through game-based learning, supported by summative assessment via a set of mobile devices, not only was the lesson more engaging but the teacher was able to measure results at the click of a button! After seeing this as part of the wider curriculum-based training session (and supported by a slice of Red Velvet cake), she told us it was the most worthwhile training session she’d ever been on.
When we work with you, from our Classroom Healthcheck® to our advice to our installation to our ongoing support, we strive to be as unique as your school.
