Galileo Multi Academy Trust wanted more than just a technology supplier when they set out to upgrade the interactive screens across their 10 primary schools. Their goal was to find a partner who could guide them through the process, provide ongoing support, and ensure teachers could confidently integrate the technology into their lessons.

A Thoughtful Approach to Procurement

Rather than selecting a supplier based purely on price, Galileo focused on finding a provider that would help them make the right decisions for their pupils and staff. We worked closely with them to assess what each school needed, ensuring consistency across the trust. By standardising the equipment, staff could collaborate more easily, training resources could be shared, and technical support could be streamlined.

Another key factor was the ability to explore technology before making a decision. Galileo valued the opportunity to visit the Experience Centre, where key stakeholders could get hands-on with the equipment and understand how it would fit into their classroom. This approach ensured they weren’t just purchasing screens but investing in the right tools to support teaching and learning.

More Than Just Installation

Technology is only useful if staff feel confident using it. Galileo wanted a supplier that would support them beyond installation, making sure teachers had the training and ongoing guidance they needed.

We designed a structured training programme that gave teachers time to develop their skills gradually. Instead of a one-off CPD session, staff had regular opportunities to explore new techniques, refine their approach and ask questions as they became more familiar with the software and hardware. This long-term support meant technology wasn’t just being added to classrooms but was becoming a key part of teaching.

A Lasting Partnership

The impact of this partnership has been clear - staff have embraced the technology and are using it confidently in lessons, rather than seeing it as just another tool. Many teachers have even been excited to showcase their progress, sharing new ways they have used the screens to engage students.

For Galileo, choosing Elementary Technology wasn’t just about buying EdTech. It was about securing a long-term relationship with a supplier that supports their schools at every stage, ensuring technology is fully embedded into teaching and learning.
