There are lots of I’s in team…
We reflect on our recent success as an AV Awards Finalist for ‘Best Reseller’, the fantastic night out we all had in London and the Dad dancing we all enjoyed, and we realise that we’re a strong team.
We walked away from our recent Go Karting event with the same feeling! An event to celebrate a very successful year in terms of growth – both in turnover and in several new customer service initiatives.
These successes are of course down to the strength of our collective team but are also the results of what we all bring as individuals.
Whether it’s the excellent service a colleague at the head office provides, the superb knowledge of any of our consultants, the creativity of our marketing or the attention to detail of our installation team – the hard work of each and every individual at Elementary Technology contributes to our overall success. It’s all the I’s in team that got us to the AV Awards, and it’s all the same team members that celebrated our success around the karting track!
The Elementary Technology Team is more than the sum of its parts.
But hang on a minute!
While we’re here, there’s a technology metaphor to be had. One which considers a classroom with an interactive touchscreen, a laptop, a visualiser, the latest classroom audio, and where each pupil has use of a wireless tablet.
Take any in isolation? Yes – they’re powerful and they utilise the latest technology. Place them in collaboration, like a sales team and a customer service team, and they suddenly start generating real, beneficial outcomes.
An example…
A teacher uses a visualiser to show a pupil’s work on the interactive touchscreen, and a different pupil annotates over a sentence using their remote tablet connectivity.
In this example we have peer marking, we have collaboration, we have improving of confidence and we have using technology to accomplish things not otherwise possible.
We have a set of I’s working together to generate a fantastic outcome – now that’s award-winning!
